coolant leak and hoses

Are many of the hoses specially formed or are they just generic 5/8 heater hose?

Also, I have a leak on the coolant tube that goes into the top of the rear cylinder. It looks like there is clamp that holds it in. Is replacing the seal as simple as undoing the clamp, pulling the tube up and sliding in a new seal? It seems like the clamp would allow for too much slop to secure a seal well.

They're formed, but heater hose can be made to work. The "seal" is a 14mm o-ring
