Well she has arrived!! what have i got myself into!?

Well hello all, i just got a 94 vn750 and i am looking around for parts to bring her back up to snuff.
she needs the whole ignition switch and all the locks
i guess the key got broke off in it and they had to tear it apart to get it to work!
it also needs the entire center cluster including guages due to accident.
as well as the choke cable(corroded thru)

so im looking at parts on line and was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to do to remedy this situation

I get most of my parts off of ebay. So far it has been good. Go by the seller reputation. I have gotten good starters as cheap as $20. Read the parts description carefully.

Do a post here in the Sell/Swap area, check Ebay for sure, also check cheapcycleparts and bikebandit...both have good prices on new OEM stuff. There are lots of other places too. Best bet is to do searches here for the specific item you need to fix...chances are someone has posted their procedures and resources for finding the parts already. There really is a massive wealth of info here on anything on our bikes. Good luck and have fun!!

It has to be one of the most loved, least changed bikes in the history of motorcycles.

Check everywhere on the web, and you'll find everything you need before you know it.
