Too old/Old Dog--

Well maybe I'm just gettin too old, but I made it back and am still able to type...lol...
Anyway went on a 3 day ride into E. Tn. W. N.C. & Ky. Monday and rode for a total of 840 miles, did the Devils Triangle and went out thru Caryville (think I will leave the gravel Rd. out next time...lol...) went on to Cumberland falls for a hard 327 mi day...
Tues. we did the Dragon & Cherohala Skyway etc., then today I left Caryville and went 116 thru Briceville and on thru Stainsville & Petros then 62 & Genisis rd. to Crossville and home... I am now one whooped dog...lol...
I don't think I have a headache, but the rest of the old bod is another story...lol...
Next time I think I will load the bike in the PU and drive up, then ride a day and rest a day, that might work better...
BTW-Good to see Corbin back...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Hell, if you're too old Old Dog, than I fear I may be dead already! Haha! That many miles would put a bit of a hurt on anyone's body I think. IMHO, I think you did awesome to make it back with your butt still attached - that is, assuming it is! LOL : )

Glad you made it back safe. Sounds like it was an awesome trip.

Geez Old Dog, it made me tired and achy just reading about your ride, and I`m 15 years younger than you!!

Glad you had a good time and made it home safely.

Yeah, it was still a good ride, but it would have been better had I broke it up and did one day at a time... I hope to ride another year or so, but those consecutive days eat my lunch...lol... I know I'm lucky to be able & ridin at 74, but I still love it... Really didn't do any good pictures, just rode and when I saw something that looked good there wasn't a good place to pull over... That Cherohala Skyway is a very good ride, and with some awsome scenery, think I'll ride that again and not the Dragon...

That is some beautiful country you rode in. Congratulations on the ride. I've only done most of those roads on 4 wheels. I'd really like to get up there and run them on the bike. Maybe when I graduate from college (I'll be close to 50 then) I can celebrate with a ride like that, although, I think I'll take another day or two to cover the miles you did on this trip, lol. Great iron butt riding Old Dog!

Sounds like a great ride. Four of us are making the Dragon/Cherohala loop which will be about 230 miles total. Longest day's ride for any of us and first time for this route. Hopefully the weather holds up. With my luck that will be the day the drought ends.

Hey, Old Dog, most of the reading I've done says that riding helps keep you young.......!

Anyway, Congrats big-time on a great ride, that most of us only dream of doing (like myself, for instance)....I think what you've done here is what most of us would call, "real living"....

Anyway, hope you do it all again soon--be sure to post back here when you do, ok?....
