Talking Crobins is in the House!

Hi, Folks -
Sorry to have been a stranger for so long. Life got a little crazy, work was nuts, blah, blah, blah. Fergy shot me an email to let me know about lance's passing - very sad news, and it prompted me (albeit slowly) to come back into the fold.

Latest news from here: Got McKnight's engine mostly rebuilt - redid the valves in both cylinders, but still have a cyl head in the basement that just needs to be put back on. Otherwise just needs a good cleaning, the bars dropped by an inch and it'll be good to go. Got another baby in the stable that needs *lots* of work - pull the engine, top end cleaning, etc. Mostly riding my Savage these days since it's actually in one piece.

Glad to be back. If anyone needs parts, shoot me an email or pm. Plenty of those still packaged up, including a trunk with lock.

Cheers.

C

Thanks, folks. Nice to be back.

BTW, a part of the reason I've been away is because we decided to re-do our guest bathroom and couldn't find a contractor willing to just take out the old bathtub and install a new one. Out of irritation or foolishness, we ended up demo'ing the whole thing and doing all of it ourselves. That included the tub install (which required a new rough in - old one was 59", new one was 60"), plumbing, drywall, tile flooring, wiring, etc., etc. I've never done any of that before, so it was a whole new set of skills to learn. Has taken forever, and during that time, all the parts (tub included) were sharing the garage with my bikes. Now that we're down to just needing two pieces of door trim, I think I can turn my attention back to my little motorized orphans.
