My new project / parts bike!

Just picked it up today for a price I couldn't argue with. It's in rough shape but all in all I think it was an Ok buy.

I'm almost positive I'll be seeking parts and help putting it back together.

I'll be posting an electrical wiring question soon in the electrical section...

Does the engine run?
It`s missing a couple of heat shields, but mostly looks like it just needs some TLC.

That seat cover looks like a baggy elephant skin. lol

Yeah. TLC and some finger crossing. lol. It's in pretty rough shape cosmetically. The engine does turn over but something is wrong with the wiring and it didn't start as he said it did only a few months ago. I'm going to take a further look at it today and probably pull the seat and covers off my bike to see the wiring harness and hopefully I can get it to run. I want to make sure it does before I put any effort / money into it.

I think someone took an old leather jacket and cut it up to make the seat. lol
