This looks like a good deal
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ra...049638416.html
I've been sent better pictures and it needs:
L side cover, tach & speedo housings, front fender (maybe just a repaint), LF turn sig & the headlight bracket from that side, headlight housing, mirror. I would like to get used parts to restore it otherwise new would be $400-600.
Oh, I'm rhino's dad in MN!

The ad has been up for a month; may be negotiable on price. If it rides and didn't suffer any internal damage, sounds like a sound bike. May need to clean the carbs with that few miles and the owner saying it's cold blooded. Then it could be the original battery and plugs too.
I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

I think the fender looks cockeyed too. I'd love to know how the head light housing got mangled like that. What did he hit?

Don't know what he hit, doesn't really look like a typical low-sider! Might offer $1500.
^ That sounds better to me. I'd definitely go see it in person before making any decisions. Although 1500 to 2000 for a working 2005 with 4k on the clock is pretty damn good. Let us know what you do...

Dang, that looks like my 06 after my crash, the Ins. totaled mine, repair came to $2,600 which was over 1/2 what the bike was worth, so they gave me a choice, $2,600 and I could fix it or have it fixed or total it and take a check for $4,500, I took the check...
