starting issue

I have a Vulcan 750 2006 which runs great and starts just fine when cold. Once the engine is hot I have great difficulty starting it. It is a little embarrassing at the gas staion when I can't leave.

Anyone with similar issues or ideas?

Common issue, try changing to the NGK Irridium plugs and if you don't have a AGM battery, get one. That usually clears it up.

I read about this on the forum... have you read through the Vulcan verses?

I dunno if I remember correctly, but I think this can be fixed by modifying the pickup coils' gap. Also, I think an AGM battery and Iridium plugs help reduce the problem.

One question I have is, does this only happen at the gas station? I found the same problem if I filled it too much, make sure to leave space between the "neck"(is what I will call it) and the gasoline level.
