Helmet locks

Any suggestions for helmet locks and placement? It seems there are a few out there.

if you dont have them on your vulcan, find a set of used ones and rekey them to match your ignition so you have only one key. mine are on the grabrail stock but not sure I like them there!
link on rekeying them in my sig line!

I just did a search on *helmet lock relocation* and found a new one to me, relocated to the front wheel. Looks kind of cool.

I just use a padlock and lock the helmet to the rear rack or mirror stem.
Yeah, with it on the mirror stem, someone could unscrew it, but the lock would still be attached.
Usually, anything that makes something harder or longer to take makes a potential thief move on.

You can get them that bolt on your frame or handlebars... You can cut a "T" shaped piece of aluminum and make it a double holder...Then there's the free gun lock stuff that is still cheaper... Also even if you don't want to carry another key, you can always keep it somewhere on the bike till you lock up your helmet...
Don't forget, if you have one of the cable locks for your bike, that can be used also, if one end is small enough to go thru the D ring...
I don't think I would go for the wheel mounted one, as I don't like it there, and also think you would have to take your wheel and get a rebalance...
Just ramblin...lol.........

I'm pretty sure I have an extra one at home. If I do, I'll send it to you if you want. You'll have to rectify the key situation though. I don't have a spare one of those.

Do you have a sissy bar on your bike? I'm eventually going to move mine so when I plop my helmet on top of the sissy bar, the lock will be where the D-rings hang. This would make it appear at a glance that the helmet is just sitting on the sissy bar but is really also locked up.

I have 4 of them that I took off my bikes. I don't wear a helmet so no use for them. Shoot either LP or I a PM and we'll set you up.

Same thing with the key situation too.
