London

Just got back from a week in London. Cruisers are a rear breed there...actually, they're too big for the city. Most everyone drives a 50cc scooter and they make riding in the narrow streets look like kids play....more balls than I have for sure. Unbelievable the way they dart in and out of traffic. Full face helmets and armor is standard attire. You'd be crazy not to wear it there.
BTW....Coincidentally, I managed to see Prince Charles, Prince William and the England's prime minister. That was very cool.
Pubs are doing very well too

Ahhhh, London. One of our favorite cities. What part of town did you stay in?

R

Yes, it's my mid-life crisis.

First photo: Prince Charles is standing talking to another officer. His wife is in the purple outfit. Prince William is just to the left of the podium and Englands' Prime Minister is two to the left of Prince William. I was about 100' away from them....very cool.
BTW: Setting is Westminster Abbey and the occasion was 70th anniversary of Battle of Britain. Many are looking up because the RAF was doing a fly-by.

Second photo: Me and British colleagues at a local pub....Cheers!

Cool pics! I was there once, I did all the touristy stuff - the London Eye, Westminster, Tower Bridge, Globe Theatre (Billy Shakespeare's digs), etc. I didn't plan it but I happened to there the week of the Queen's birthday. The celebration in Leister Square won't soon be forgotten. I drank 'bitters' on a balcony and watched the street performers. One dude juggled a running chain saw, a bowling ball, and lit torch while riding a unicycle. I gave him 5 euros for that little stunt.
