Bucket list

Now that I have a bike more suited for the long haul.I am going to try to make a two week Journey alone next spring with a south and west direction maybe south to Atlanta and look up Lance and Wiley then over into La. to hook up with Flite (Lee) and on to the great state of Texas to meet you Texas boys who have been so friendly over the past couple years, instead of a walkabout I want to go on a rideabout .It is something I have wanted to do for several years and i could probably use some help planning it.Any body ready for some east Ky red neck ,hillbilly company and a little riding if it works out for me.
I would set a start date of shortly after The Easter holiday and try to avoid the traffic and heat before it gets to bad. That would be a biggie to get to mark off the old list.

If you see it on my bike I did it

Well Denny if you get close to South Cent. Tenn. I would hopefully be ready to ride a bit also...
Inez Ky. Pop 600, that must be a fine place to live... I remember working the power lines, and a place just across the E. Tenn. border into S. Va., where we tied into Old Dominion Power, that the workers bought up cigarettes much cheaper than in Tenn., with a lower Pop. than that...
"Goose Pimple Junction Va"., the sign read, Population 90, and someone had wrote on the bottom, and one old grouch...lol... That has stuck with me for many years...lol...
PS-I just googled it on google maps and it came up a bit East of Bristol Tn./Va. ... BTW-I would be an Appalachian American also being borned and raised a bit West of Middlesboro, Ky., just over the Tn. line in Well Springs at the foot of the Cumberland Mtns. ...lol... Man did I loved grouse huntin in them mountains. ...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

Our season usually starts the last Saturday in March and is usually over around the time yours starts. Not a problem on the shotgun. I've got the Remington 1100 3" mag with Briley extra full choke my son killed his first turkey with at 43 paces. But I quit carrying that cannon a couple of decades ago. For some reason, I prefer to tote a lighter gun these days! If you ask nice, I might let you play with the first hand made cedar box call I made!
