Man What a Day!!!

Upper 70's low 80's low humidity here in Jersey Just got back from a 3 hour ride. This has to be one of the 10 nicest days all year. Just spectacular!

Weather in New Jersey can be great when it doesn't totally suck. I hope you went to the coast.

Most of my time in Jersey was at Ft Dix.

Same here Ron, I was out all day - absolutely beautiful. Everybody had there toys out. I saw a black Ford Cobra, all sorts of bikes, a convertable 69 Carmaro, somebody dropped a 396 into a pinto, and a big ol' black hot rod with the engine hangin out - it sounded like a thunder storm. It was a blast.

Well your right most of the summer is hot and humid in Jersey. But when it all comes together and you're out in the country (such as it is) it can be worth all it all. And I didn't go "down the shore" I live in western Somerset county so I headed up toward Hunterdon and Warren counties to find some new twisties.

Nope, I was around West Chester and Malvern PA. I would have been on a mean streak anyway, I sold the 750 to my buddy.

Nice, you gotta let me know if you found some good ones. Hunterdon county is where I'm moving to.

Now I know how you "northerners" feel when we "southerners" talk about a nice ride in January! I rode to church yesterday morning and it was pretty embarrassing how my shirt had several sweaty spots and my hair was dripping down the back of my neck for at least the first 30 minutes of the service! I just want to ride and the suffering is just a part of it right now...

I spent the entire day Saturday working outside, mowing, edging, hedge trimming and doing other yard work, painting my newly built shed, and giving my bike a much overdue bath, (trying not to lean over the bike cause sweat was dripping off my head like it was raining) before it cooled enough to do the weed eating just before dark. I have a 24 oz refillable water bottle made by Thermos that I filled 7 or 8 times during the day. Even today, I feel like I was run over by a tank, still trying to recuperate.

Fergy's right on. I rode Sunday morning. Left about 6:30 and it was already 80 degrees in North Texas. By 11, it was 95.

Makes my rides kinda short.

^ You ain't kiddin'! After my twin separating from his fiance and moving in with me, then my buddy who was in Iraq showing up at my door with all his bags - its a little cramped in my 2 bedroom apartment. If I could move today I would! Month and a half, I just gotta hang in there for a month and a half...
