Short?

Hey all I had just run into a short in the Brown/White wire running from the Ign. switch ( under gas tank) to Junction box. I really havent felt any heat at the box..Gets very (smokin) hot only when bike is running and throttled up to 2500 or more rpms. Before starting, the HEADLAMP is on also, Its not normally untill the bike starts..Any fast ideas or I have to spend sat. looking with my meter..

Garage
the wire in question is the one that took out my wiring harness... look for it getting pinched around the tank area and making contact with the frame, or with the black with yellow striped wire.

Thanks Slim Im doing that check now. I had taken tank off to get a better view and could not see anything unusual. I have unwrapped harness to have a better look. Keep ya informed. Amsoil man
