Hells Angels

I just went to the US Hot Rod Summer Nationals in Worcester. Up by the burnout area the Worcester Chapter of the Hells Angels had a booth with a huge banner that read "Support your local Hells Angels. They were selling tee shirts I had a laugh. I never knew they had a charter in my area. I know they ousted another club who had been established for years. Stripped their colors and said they harm anyone seen wearing them again. I wont mention the club.

I know quite a few members in the Vegas area, great guys really. Without knowing the full story of why they outstead the other club, I'll withhold passing judgment.

The way I heard it was that this other club was a bunch of Knuckleheads that were having a spat with a connecticut club and the Conn club happened to be a friends with the Angels. Some one was harmed, so the Angels went in and took care of business. It was a rather hush hush thing in the local news here. Happened a lot of years ago, 10 plus at least.

Deliveed some pizza to a club 20 years ago. Nice bunch of guys, got a huge tip a couple of beers and got to oogle their bikes. Of course I was an invited guest bearing food but I would not want to cross them. What I have noticed around here is that almost any rider on any style or make of bike will drop you a hand when you meet on the road. Kind of like Jeep and Mustang drivers LOL

I dont have any problem with them. Its funny one guy had an old fashioned monkey wrench bungied with is coat on his seat. Not a good image to portray if they are changing their ways. My brother knew one of the Seattle WA charters presidents. He said you wouldnt even know this guy was an Angel.

Most of the time you won't know unless they are wearing their colors. Now that being said i have a piece of 3/8" chain about 3 feet long on a quick release attached to my brake lever. And if thats not enough a lot of times I am carrying.
