j'aimerais savoir si on pourait monter un moteur de 800 a la place du 750
esque q'uelquin a essayer?

Jacques - je suis desolais, mais ce n'est pas possible. Le moteur de 800 est tres tres different. If faut que vous continuez chercher un moteur de 750. Je me suis souvenu qu'il y a un membre a Belgique. Je sais que vous etes a le nord-ouest de la France, mais si c'est homme a quelque chose, est-il possible d'y aller?

je pense que le boque moteur est le meme il faut monter le cardan a la place de la chene

Anyone - Jacques wants to know if he can simply switch out the chaine and driveshaft if he mounts the 800.


Alors, je vais essayer a ecrire meilleur cette fois-ci... mais parce-que je suis une femme, je suis desolee (deux <e>).

Je viens de traduire votre question pour le forum. Mais je ne crois pas que c'est si simple comme ca. Au moins, si vous laissez rester la chene, il faut changer la roule. Et si vous voulez monter le carden a la place de la chene, il faut changer la...comment dit-on?...la <differential> (le truc qui change la direction du moteur pour les roules). Peut-etre quelqu'un ici peut repondre avec plus de surete.

My question would be why one would want a underpowered motor like the 800 instead of a 750.

Tell him no one has switched motors, because to switch , you would have to not only replace the rear wheel but the swing arm, you might even have to alter the frame in the rear...(the front too for the motor itself) ...the cost to do all this even if you did the labor would be as much as just buying a used 750 (or 800) that already runs.

The only real thing the two bikes share is the VN designation, nothing is interchangable.
