Seat Question

This is going to sound dumb, so bare with me.

I went to investigate my R/R, but I could not figure out how to get the seat off. On my Honda there was a release by the tank, it was simple. Help a dumb ass out? Thanks....lol

No problem! We all had to figure this one out the first time. Inside your toolbox on the back of the passenger back rest is a couple of bolts coming from the backrest part of the seat. Remove the nuts and you should be able to tilt the seat up from the rear and then slide it back out of the tongue and grove fitting near the gas tank. You may have to remove the 10mm bolt holding on your toolbox which is also located inside the toolbox, and remove the toolbox before you can tilt the seat, as I can't exactly remember...
