Well after 600 miles of flawless performance, I guess I can pronounce most of my problems cured thanks to this forum and particularly Lance 328.
I purchased a 2002 Vulcan 750 with 23995 miles on the Odometer, which I test drove and it seemed to be in good shape, it was one of the best of three that I looked at; some with just 9,000 miles.
After, approx: 100 miles of on the road at 50-55 mph; the bike quit, engine was running but it wouldn't move.
I had been lurking around this forum for a while and I gave Lance 328 a call.
Any way to make a long story short;
I live about 50 miles from Lance and I trailered the Bike to his shop.
He worked his magic; and the following was performed:
Removed the Goat
Installed Rear Final Drive
Installed Prop Shaft
Relocated the R/R
Installed TOC MCCT's
Rebuilt the Master Cylinder
Installed MF-AGM Battery
Can you believe all this cost me was the parts and a SixPack:::LOL; no way.
After 600+ miles the bike is running great; Next major goal is to install new Clutch and a Series Voltage Regulator if Lance ever gets it figured out.
This link is for an Audio of the bike running with the MCCT's after 600+ Miles.
