PA inspection question

I'm in the process of making a set of highway pegs. I read on the PA inspection codes for motorcycles that:
"Code 175.160,(c)(4)Inspect the vehicle frame and reject if: (viii) The highway bars exceed the maximum width of 26 inches or are located more than 15 inches from the foot controls. "

Just wondering if any of you PA riders can confirm this before I continue fabrication.

Thanks

I'm not sure what there is to confirm, you have the rule right there. Can you make the highway pegs removable?

I'm sure I can, but what I was trying to check on is the 26" flipped up (stored position) or is 26" with pegs down (riding position). I'm probably sounding a little anal but why do all the work more then once?

As long as your highway bar itself is not wider than 26" you will not have a problem. If you put pegs on the bar they must be 26" or less in the riding position.
