risers

bought handlebars and had it taken to the shop only to find out there is no clearance for the bars b/c of the gas tank. Did anyone here run into the same problem? if so what risers do you use to get around this? thanks in advance Ian.

I thought about using these but I got bars that just barely clear when rotated up a little, usually the clutch cable handlebar end is what hits the tank,I got around this by using a different style cable off a Kz 1000 as the fitting comes straight out of the lever instead of curving. Loosen up your throttle side and rotate the top back to you slightly and your throttle cables will clear. But here is a link to some extended risers. http://www.jrgraham.com:9081/itemdet...entCtg=7107861
