another fork lock question

Never bothered with the fork lock till this weekend, it works great but one small problem, when I remove the key the back tail light stays on, no other lights turn on, any ideas?

with the key all the way to the left or the right?Iam not sure about what is going on with your bike but all the way to the right is a park position that will turn on the taillight on some bikes ,European Vulcans I Thought.Wait and see if Lance will chime in on this or maybe some of our members across the pond can tell us more, but I have heard this before.

The writing is gone on my ignition key, I couldn't see if I turned the key to the left it would do the fork lock without the park light on... DUH

well at least you know now and you also know how to leave the tail light on if your are parked beside the road for a bit to rest or whatever!
