Cool Modern Seat-

I have searched all over this site trying to get information to change my seat out. I do not like the old style seat. I want someone that has changed out there seat to a double seat with a seperate passenger sissy bar. I do not like the "rain catchers" as they call them in the seat. I just want a normal looking seat, dont care as much about comfort because I wont be doing any long rides. Thank you in advance.

Get creative, some have experimented with different vulcan seat, herley seats even custom fabing from the origional seat. It's late & I'm tired or I'd throw you some links. I know the search can be alittle iffy here at times, but you'll get ehat your looking for. My bike for example. I used a harley heritage seat.

Keep digging. Lot people here have changed their seat, either with a custom do-it-yourself fab or an aftermarket seat from Corbin or Mustang.

Mustang no longer makes VN750 seats. They are super comfortable, though. Check craigslist or ebay. Love mine, it's good for 12+ hour rides.

Corbin still makes our seats, approx $450. It has a backrest. I've never ridden on one, can't comment on it. People who have, answer: Does the backrest interfere with getting off the seat to lean through turns, sportsbike style?

The journey is the destination.

Hey I hear ya about the seat. Its the one thing I couldn't stand about the bike. I actually got a new seat cover on ebay. stock for vulcan 750 and I customized my pan to get rid of the sissy bar. Check out my pics to see what I did. The seat cover was like $40 alot cheaper than paying someone to make a seat for you. The same guy has a cover with flames embroidered into the cover but you would probably have to keep the sissy bar.
