Lance328 Strikes Again !!!

Hi all,

It's Jeff in Atlanta with the new to me 93 with the busted stator... I replaced it and then it started puking coolant out of the rear cylinder... Well Ron said to bring it over and I did last weekend. He looked at it and found that I have a Cali bike and some of the emissions stuff was still hooked up and some was already missing... Well long story short, when I hooked up the coolant bottle after the stator job, seems there was a vacuum line to the rear carb in the right place at the right time and it obliged. So the picture is something like this... Imagine your kids sucking up a slurpee at the gas station!!!! Well after fixing that and doing coasters, ear shave, Pick up coil regap, carb rejet, and removing the emissions and surge tank crap, we wanted to take it for a shakedown cruise before finishing up the cosmetics...

Of course his work was top notch so our shakedown cruise turned into a 140 mile trip from Buford Ga up to Helen, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Cumming, across Buford Dam at Lake Lanier, and back to Ron's. Bike ran great and with the weather at 78 deg and not a cloud in the sky, all was well. Well almost.... At lunch in Helen, Ga, Ron had us park in a questionable area (no parking sign) but close the the restaurant and it seems Barney Fife of the Helen Ga Police Dept. must have finished his rounds (around the doughnut box) just in time for us to receive our Bratwurst.... Lady next to us said Hey look at the cop giving those two bikes a ticket.....So while the ride and bike were awesome, Ron's motor vehichle skills are somewhat more dubious....

So if you are looking for a guy for your 750, I can personally attest to Lance328's abilities and personal touch.... My bike finally runs!!!!!

Jeff

The crash bar is the stock fire and ice one... it's a little smaller but after I get some highway pegs mounted, it will be ok... Looks good though
