It's about time!!!

Well, most all of last year and up until mid February of this year I was on unemployment. Towards the end of the riding season, the battery on my bike went kaput.
With that, the bike has sat in my dad's garage for about 8 or 9 months
Funds weren't allowing for a quality battery replacement, so FINALLY, yesterday I was able to pick up a Sears Gold, charged it and today installed it. Took a couple cranks, but it fired up and sounded like it was ready to roll!!
Thank heavens for Seafoam!!
Just gotta get it back together and inspected (have to wait until Monday for that )
So..... I'm hoping to be on the road again with two wheels soon!!

Next is getting the KLX outta the garage and ready to hit the trails!

It'll be nice to have all the Kaw's in my Kaw pen up and running again!!

Yep, as of Feb 22nd.

Working at a machine shop called Ibis Tek. They make armored parts for military, law enforcement and VIP vehicles (as well as blanks for a variety of street signs on the laser machines they have.
Hit up Ibis Tek on YouTube and you can see one of the vehicles they mod... A Chevy suburban with a hidden 50cal gun that comes up outta the back end.

that is great news! I'm so glad you are back to work.

Ibis Tek sounds like a cool place to work. do you think they could mod a vn750 with a tail gun for all those blasted tail-gaiting cagers?!

No, No, NO! You spread an oil slick for tailgaters. The 50 cal is for the guy in front, and for oncoming traffic with brights on. A grenade launcher or small mortar for the guy two cars ahead who is too damned slow. Of course, smart missles could do it all.

Get it right!

LOL...
I already mentioned that if they have any plans of making Jeep parts, I'd be happy to let them use mine for a test vehicle!!
I'll have to make mention of the Vulcan for anything like that!!
Would make week day communtes much more exciting!!
