new lid

I was looking at a new full face I currently wear a Vega Altura which was my first time owning a full face helmet and while I have been satisfied with it .I was wanting to step up to a snell and dot approved helmet and have been considering a scorpion EXo 400 ,which I know is the bottom of the line and that the EXO 700 and 1000 are supposed to be better. What I need is some feed back from you guys that own an EXO 400 and let me know if you have been satisfied with fit and finish and general overall value for the buck.

If you see it on my bike I did it

I've got a Scorpion EXO400 FFH and it's great! While I don't usually wear a helmet at all, this one fits great, is light weight and has an awesome face shield. The liner comes out to clean. You can't go wrong.

I crahs tested my EXO400. It passed with flying colors. You can pick them up WAY cheap right now at newenough.com. My wife has the 700 with "upgraded" venting.

I like my 400, I have 2, and I love them. Good quality, good price, lots of options.

Glad the helmet passed the test! Sorry you had to get it tested. Any non-head injuries?

I have several full face helmets (they are all I wear anymore). My KBC TK-77, and my ZIR ZRP-1s are my favorites. The KBC is both DOT and Snell rated, the ZIR is DOT rated only, and cost under $100. It fits fine, and I believe it provides better protection, both because it came out ahead in this test http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ge...iew/index.html conducted by the worlds foremost experts on helmets, including the late Professor Harry Hurt, and because it is a solid white, and the KBC has graphics, making it harder to see. I no longer attach any importance at all to the Snell rating, as far as I am concerned, it is nothing more than an advertising gimmick, and in several cases may very well mean an inferior helmet. Jerry.

I am a motorcyclist, NOT a biker.
