Cleveland motorcycle show

the wife and I went to the Cleveland bike show last night. we were kind of let down. it was not as good as has been in the past few years. for one thing there were no Vulcan 750's or Vulcan 500's for us to look at. also there were a lot less vendors.

I was planning on going today, but got too busy with other stuff. Thinking about going tomorrow morning. I got a 3 dollar off coupon and if I ride my bike parking is free. That be a 11 dollar savings only costing a total of 9 bucks out of pocket to see it.

I was talking to some locals who had gone to the Calgary Alberta bike show at the beginning of January, and they had the same impressions. The slowdown in the economy is affecting everyone it seems.

as we were driving down there, the wife said to me, see we could've rode to the show. the roads where nice and clear, but it was really cold, about 19 degrees out! but when we got to the IX center, the parking lot was nothing but a sheet of ice! also parking was/is $8 for cars and $4 for bikes. it's not free for bikes, only half price!
