If you get on www.NOAA.gov and punch in your town and state several times between now and the time you want to ride, it will provide constant real time updates for the weather in your area. The closer it gets to ridin' time the more accurate the forecast is. There's a radar screen you can click too. If you know the direction your weather comes from (usually SW), you can scroll in that direction on the map and see about when the weather, if any, will be in your area. In my experience if you wake up Saturday morning and that website says "sunny" I'd prep to ride all day.

Same here, I did ride a very short ride the other day (20-25 mi) just enough to warm up and charge up a bit, intended to ride more but hadn't rode in a while and left my cell phone and water (CRS again), and it was a bit colder than I dressed for... Maybe Sat. I can get it togather and ride at least to Lynchburg and back, about 60 mi of good twisties RT, need to pick up a bit of fork oil anyway... I know not much riding, but it beats none...lol...
[Edit]---Awwwwwww---Just rechecked, and now they are saying 53* and thunderstorms for Sat., dang, can't win for loosing...lol...[End edit]

I'm jeolous! I'm in western Colorado and we haven't seen temperatures above 35 degrees since November! My cut off is 40. Been mostly between 0 & 25 degrees. The cold is old!

Hope the weather holds out for you! Ride some for me ok?

Slim, any way you can haul the bike down south and spend some R&R in sunnier climes? You deserve it for what you've done.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

wish i could... I get r&r next week... a whole 30 days with nothing to do...except rebuild my bike.... Right now my bike is in pieces getting reborn. I would love to head down south, but my bike says no... sitting for so long I have a lot of work to do to get her road worthy again... and to top it off, she's not registered at the moment... be waiting to see new pics of "The Freak Show" come late this spring. Anitq and I have been turning a lot of ideas back and forth for the past year and have come up with some pretty sick ideas to make a very custom bike. I have hinted around at what I am doing for some time now... but still not going into great detail on what all I am doing...
