ran into "Fast Eddie" (previous owner) today!

I'm very excited! I ran into "Fast Eddie" today. "Fast Eddie" (that's what the wife and I call him) is the person I bought my vn750 from. he is a great guy! he has been riding motorcycles for over 40 years! he says he's owned and ridden them all and told me that the vn750 was the best bike he ever owned! he told me when he sold me his (now mine) vn750, that this was going to be his last bike. I didn't believe him. but he said that he was going to hang up his riding boots for good and maybe buy a boat.
well, that was 3 years ago and I was right! he bought not 1 but 2 bikes since then! we didn't get a lot of time to talk and I wish I got his email address so I could keep in touch with him. he has a ton of knowledge and some great stories to tell.
he also told me that the vn750 was the best bike and his favorite. I laught and he looked me straight in the eye and said "no, really! it's the best bike out there"!

I could go on and on about "Fast Eddie". he is just one of those great guys that (if you are lucky enough) you get meet in your life time. he's one in a million! so, here's to you "Fast Eddie", RIDE ON AND RIDE SAFE!

Fast Eddie sounds like a real character. I would love to hear his stories. Too bad you never got his email address.

Ruger,
There is a guy who calls himself Fast Eddie listed as the point of contact for the Delaware (Ohio) Swap Meet. Might be your guy, although I guess a fellow who was planning to quit riding would not likely be involved in running a swap meet.

Find that link on the Who's In Ohio? thread, my post, Ohio Bike Events
