removing decals?

I have an '89 and the stock Kawasaki decals are starting to get a little ragged. Is there any easy way to remove these without affecting the tank or fenders?

Go to NAPA and get a decal remover that fits on your drill, it won't hurt the paint.

Garage
If you mean the ones on the tank, fishing line and goo gone.

"Saw" the back out with the fishing line and use the goo gone to remove any leftover adhesive. Helps to heat them up with a hair dryer first.

I use a 'orange cleaner' made from natural extracts - not the chemical types on the market - that works great removing gum, glue, adhesive crap without harming paint. There are several on the market, just look for the concentrates that do not contain chemicals. I think I have Orange Away Concentrate.

If you're talking about tank badges, there are at least a couple of us on here who might be interested in one or both of them. Mine is an '00 so I don't know if they're the same or not.
