Hiccup between 5-6k

Hey there guys, got the bike running and have been driving it for a bit. Now I have a new problem, in every gear at whatever given speed, she starts to "miss" or "hiccup" between 5-6k on the tach. Everywhere else is great and in the lower gears its hardly noticable with somewhat heavy acceleration as it goes through that range relatively quickly. But in higher gears there is quite a loss in power, although its still able to accelerate beyond 6k and then picks back up. If you stay between 5-6k in any gear you can tell the power loss. Not sure what else to say havent checked anything yet as I'm not sure where to begin, the carbs should be spotless had 'em out three times because of previous problems.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks, Mak

double check all ground connections then connections at coils..... the engine can humm a certain way at a particular rpm to wiggle the ground just enough to not spark...
