Trouble Installing ACCT

Rebuilt the ACCT and the ACCT itself seem to be fully operational. The issue I'm having is getting it back into the bike. With the plunger fully extended, it will not seat back into the hole. Am I supposed to compress the plunger before installing the ACCT? It wasn't like that when it came out of the bike. Please advise.

YeS...........Pull the plunger all the was back in, Bolt the ACCT back on the bike, Then release the Plunger slowly,

(Then what I did).........After I released the plunger and it went as far as it would go I gave it a 1/64-1/32 turn tweak just to make sure it was seated in.

Here is instuctions with a Video.......

And just an FYI...
The plunger was extended when you took the ACCT off because as it was removed, the spring screwed the plunger out, as if it were adjusting it.

Good to hear you got rid of the chatter!!
