trying to clean up the look...

since i chopped the seat to a solo i hated that you can see the frame and the wiring is exposed....

so, more work than i expected (of course) i came up with this.

glassed in over the frame rails per "seat pan" instructions on this site:

great site by the way. use lots of blue tape and tape everything.

after fiberglassing, bondo'd the rest up and primered. need a couple touchups cause i think a 2 yr old can bondo better than me but overall im pretty pleased.

now.... to lower the bike... HD dyna shocks or lowering brackets?

EDITED: will any of the HD dyna shocks fit? i think from reading i want 11''... will the 10.5'' lowering dyna shocks fit without bottoming out?
