A New Lady In My Life

Well I couldn't find a Drifter unless I paid double of what they are listing at, so I went with my second choice, the VN1500 Classic which are easily found for the right price. Time to get off that subject....lol. Anyways heres a few pics of her before I start customizing (Stock Sucks).

Enjoy!

Peace

NIIIIIICE bike dude. Looks like the PO had some taste too: floorboards, memphis shades, engine guard, and is that saddle aftermarket? You puttin' straight shots on her?

Nice find bro...

It's a '96 with less than 14K on her. I paid $3,000 for it. My plans are to go with T Drag bars, lose the shield, lower it (to much tire showing for my taste). I just purchased new and going to be installing SHOGUN Warlord pipes on her. The PO installed V&H's on it but never rejetted, so burnt the heat shields and cans all to s.h.i.t Painting a medieval theme to it with blades mounted on control levers, headlight, taillight, rear blinkers, front fender and fender struts. Looking into a clam shelled gas tank for it as well. If I do that then I'll have to figure out what to do about a new set of gauges...hmmmmmmm

Yes the saddle is a Corbin with quick release back rest. I am flirting with the idea of replacing it with a solo but keeping it so the wife can ride b.i.t.c.h. dunno yet, cause its the most comfortable seat that I have ever sat on. I found a set of SHOGUN Warlords on ebay for $240 shipped (1/2 priced...wooohoooo) and doing a 5yr olds version of a touchdown dance

Sweet ride!

I've always loved the white/chrome/black paint schemes.

2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 "Serenity"
Changed Oil/Filter and Coolant
Installed Big Crank ETX15L Battery w/charger hookups
Duct-taped retention safety for toolbox door
New OEM clutch lever replaced after first tipover
Plan on: changing brake fluid, coastering, lubing splines, relocating R/R, new saddlebags, highway pegs, windshield.
Scratch that...make that getting her ready for sale. Nope, scratch THAT! I'm keeping her!

I'm a C.L. whore. Always whatching and calling on things that jump out at me. My work is mostly computer base so I'm able to search durning work hours as well.

Peace
