Polish that really works.

I was at a local shop getting some parts and he told me I had to try this new polish they just got in. He then took me back and showed me what the rep did on the fork tube, it looked good. So I had to try it for myself and it took care of some bad spots I had that Mothers wouldn't touch.

It's called "Colonel Brassy" Vertex industries, Ink. (800) 541-1603. It's an industrial strength hard surface cleaner for brass, copper, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, silver, gold, plastic, and fiberglass.

It's a little pricey at $20.00, but it is a 16 oz bottle. It sure made my bike look like a million. I just hope I don't forget wear I got it.

I second that - "Where's the pict"

I need something to make my wheels look nice again, the coating is gone after 16 years of riding and I just can't get them cleaned up. Thought about having them sand blasted and repainted but that's the extreme. If this stuff works might be worth a try - but I need a picture to see for myself....

Tks

Okay, I went out and got a camera and took the pictures. As soon as I figure out how to get them on here (hopefully later to night) I will post them.

ok, I have to say I did not see alot of difference in the before and after pics.

For years I have been using this stuff:

http://tinyurl.com/nwz9h6

It is touted as the best polish in the world, and I would have to say it is. I used it once to polish metal dash plate on a 39 Plymounth. The plate was painted, and after stripping the paint off , to rough metal, I used the polish to try and shine it up. I ended up with a mirror finish. Yeah, good enough to shave with...

I used it once on my wheels and they looked like they had been chromed.

Gotta agree with KM on this one. Doesn't look worth the $20 a bottle to me.
