Parts question???

I had my bike going a little over 2 years now and put a little over 7,000 miles on the bike. The only thing that surprises me is why did kawasaki discontinue making all the fun add ons? Like floorboards!!!

I noticed the other kawasaki have aftermarket parts that are easier to find and seem cheaper.

Being somewhat new to my bike still, Has anyone ever asked kawasaki if they ever thought about making more floorboards or contacted a oem supplier to make oem parts for our bikes. Seems like someone could make $$$$ if they made parts for our bike.

Yes many people have writen and requested what youre suggesting but to no advail. After a making these bikes for 21yrs you would think there would be more aftermarket add ons but for whatever reason there wasn't. I am thinking thats due to it just being a mid size cruiser and they make ther money in the larger bikes so thats where their focus was at....A$$HOLES!!! LOL

If you look up in the forum you can find how to make your own John. I made my own with very little trouble, I have no special tools, jig saw and drill. The specs or in the Forum and what to make them out of, some have used wood and others aluminum. The floor boards really make a difference.

Chad makes floorboards for our bikes, I have a set and love them, many others here do too. Check them out:
