May Accept the Total Money and Wait...!!!

I may just accept the + $4K and wait till all is well before I buy or don't buy another bike... Just got a call about 3 am that my riding buddy and next door neighbor was on life flight to Nashville with a heart attact, come tomorrow I think I will get the extra stuff off the bike and let the Ins. Co. have it and just put things on hold for a bit...
I will keep my saddlebags, but will sell the Super Brace fork brace and the bag supports & signal light extentions and also the chrome rear rack...
So if you are interested in them let me know, I will be fair, somewhere around 1/2 price + shipping...
Also as of now I am thinking I will probably go with a black 09 HD xl1200C Sportster + sissy bar backrest, saddlebag supports, dipstick oil temp guage & rear rack... ( more polishing than riding...lol...) W/ tax & title it looks like about $12K, but I am going to wait and see like I said...
I will say again, check those darn kick stand switches...
I can't say mine was or was not working, I could not have kicked the stand all the way up and it could have jared down, just not positive, and the wreck messed the switch up so I can't tell...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

It will be a bit before I get the extra stuff off and checked out, I will let y'all know then...
I know it is ok, but I will clear the removal with the adjuster though... (Prices are figured on stock bike I'm sure)... So just hold on a few days... I should have said I hope to get the stuff off tomorrow ....
Don't know now, as they are going to do open heart surgery on my neighbor & riding buddy tomorrow... I will post when all is settled & off and ready...

Best of luck to both you and your riding buddy, Old Dog. I don`t recall anything earlier being said about your buddy being involved in the accident, so I`m assuming his heart attack is entirely unrelated to the wreck with Clyde. Is that right?

My prayers are with your riding buddy. My wife used to work for a heart surgeon, and many of his patients felt better after recovering from surgery than they had in years. Hope it's the same with him.

I'm keepin' all the left over parts. I'm gonna use 'em to build another bike!

OHC, it was not related, I guess it just came on... He had 1-100%, 1-90%, and 1-50% they are going to do open heart surgery either Mon. or Tues. as he was on blood pressure meds or thinners that they have to get clear...
