Back in the saddle .... finally ...

The major project seems to be done!!! The new motor is in and running, ear shave and coastering done, wild exhaust is finished, new tires, and all that's left is the fine tuning and many miles of riding missed!! I did get in one quick ride down the rural backroad, (about 1/2 mile) and it felt gooooooooooood!!!!

Oh yeah .... and the new vanity plate the wife let me get hasn't arrived. I got the Wisconsin VN750 plate!!

Sooner or later I'll get regular internet access again and show up more and post pics, but until then I'll be lurking at the local library or borrowing from family.

Hey Dragon, do you work in Madtown? I keep my ride in Verona, and get out and about whenever I can. Maybe I'll see you on the beltline one day, or up on 113 or 51 or something.

I currently have been "downsized" and am in between employment but spend enough time around the area. PM has been sent.
Sidenote:
Took her out today for a real ride kinda (20 miles) heard a pop and things smoothed out real nice. The pipe I thought was going to be a bit on the loud side quieted right up too, not sure what happened but I like it anyway. I will also note that the header wrap sure stinks as it burns in .......

Poor Ba$tard .... The only parts of the baffles that might be able to come out are 1/8" thick steel plate ..... good thing there wasn't anyone else on the road at the time.

That would mean I would have to stop and park her!!!!!!!!!

As soon as I can get the camera out of one of the kids' hands I'll post some. Or I might wait until I get the 1100 roadstar rear fender swap and paint job done .....
