Anti-Monkey Butt-Anyone---???

I was in china-mart the other day looking for a bit of anticeptic powder to put on my skinned knee and saw this can of Anti Monkey Butt powder, so since it was not high dollar stuff I picked up a can as it read good for motorcycle & bicycle riders...
Just wondering if others have used it and how it seemed to do on our VN750 seats at eliminating butt burn etc. ...
Thanks and have a good one...Old Dog...

It's not bad stuff, my mom got it for all us boys one christmas as a gag gift, and it actually works well (I use it in my socks). About the same as baby powder. Plus the label is way funnier.

Get an Alaska sheepskin cover, you'll never need powder again!

That and a jar of Boudreaux's Butt Paste, and you're good to go for a very, very long ride. Both are sold at Wallymart and make the ride alot more comfortable. ;-)

I did just start using some man made sheepskin (unseamed a heavy wash mitt) and believe it is going to be good, especially if you ride part time on the regular seat and add the sheepskin when discomfort starts...
And boy, does a 5-10 min. break ever help...lol...
Have a good one...Old Dog...

What is "monkey butt"?

To start, it's not always called "monkey butt." It depends on what region of the country you're in, and how the sport you participate in has tagged the condition. For motorcycle riders who DO call it "monkey butt," it's a blue collar term used by riders to describe the soreness, itching and redness that occurs when you ride and sweat on a motorcycle for hours. If your butt is so sore that you have to walk bowlegged like a monkey, you have Monkey Butt!

I've used monkey butt powder but use Gold Bond's Medicated Body Powder most. The only problem is.. well Gold Bond's Medicated contains some menthol so.. ahh.. be careful when applying or as one guy said.. "I felt like I was smoking a Kool through my butt!"

If you don't know what it is you probably ain't had it.And the Gold Bond medicated is not the choice for Monkey Butt,Swamp Butt,Jungle Rot,or Atheletes foot,The Menthol in it will make you do The Butt Scooting Doggie and you will understand why a dog does that [particular stunt.Plain Gold Bond powder is about the same as baby powder, it's al talcum powder based but most bikers hate to run in the bathroom at a gas stop carrying a bottle of Baby Powder.

If you see it on my bike I did it

The sheepskin cover will keep your butt from sweating and you won't need powder, creams, or dancing like you have ants in our drawers.
