ditching the tacho

thinking of getting rid of the tach for a cleaner look. i know, its useful for some things but i rarely pay attention to it unless im testing the voltage system. anyhow, how does it tie in and if i remove it is there a hole to plug somewhere?

thanks!

The tach works off of electrical connection. I am not sure if any alterations are needed other than just to unplug.

Take pics and document for us if you can. Sounds like something I would want to do!

Are you using the stock headlight and mount? I've seen brackets that would let you put on any aftermarket headlight, which would be cool. Add that to losing the tach clock and you'd really have a different face on your VN!

Here's a guy who sells the mount. Get this and I think you can have any headlight you want.
