Universal Blue Racing Formula Sealant

Has anybody tried this? Looks like it might be good use with the gaskets on the side covers.

Use on pre-formed gaskets, water and oil pumps, cylinder heads and sumps, inlet manifolds, timing case covers, gear box and transmission components, and finely machined surfaces, and for thread sealing

Offers unlimited assembly time and resistance to vibration and thermal expansion

-50 to 250 Celsius temperature range

Allows metal-to-metal contact

Resistant to combustion products, water, engine coolant, petroleum, lubricating oils, kerosene and fluorocarbon refrigerants

Seals surface imperfections

Flame, dust, and moisture proofing properties

Usually, I question anything from HF as being all that reliable.
But, it searching 'Hylomar' (the maker of the sealant) it seems like a decent product. Can't say I've ever used it though.

Hylamar is used in sealing the gear box front cover on the Rolls Royce RB211 jet engine. It is also used by many general aviation engine rebuilders to seal the engine case halves. Good stuff.
