Whine & Bitch....

Pardon me while I gripe.

Not about anybody here.

As I stated in an earlier thread, I just recently (December 2008) got my '89 VN750. Traded a rifle for it.

Here's the whining and complaining...

Bike came with saddlebags, saddlebag "frame" kit, and the front roll bar / highway footrest thing. However...the dude I got the bike from "didn't like the look" of them, and had taken them all off. Put the parts, bolts, etc, in a box. Gave me the box when we traded.

Me and the roommate sat around for over an hour last night trying to figure out how the hell this crap goes back on the bike.

From what we can tell, for that front roll bar, we'll have to take off the damn exhaust pipe on the right side, just so one of the bolts can be taken all the way out to put it on again. Grrrr...

And, that saddlebag frame kit...what machiavellian bastard came up with that design? Naturally, it came with no instructions, and as best we can tell, some of the bolts are missing. Grrrr again...

Anybody know where I can get another one of those kits for the saddlebags? Will be easier than trying to figure that monstrosity out.

...thanks for letting me whine...

BITCH!! BITCH!! BITCH!! LOL

To install engine guard you will have to remove the right heat shield and down pipe, you may need a bolt that is 5mm longer. ALL bolts are metric!!!!

If you have Factory saddlebag mounts here are the instructions.
