Rambo trick

Did the Grambo trick today on my Auto chain tensioners.
I took mine off and blew some brake cleaner through them, and opereated them on the bench about 10 times each.
The on vehicle test did not work, so i removed them one at atime.
It worked out fine and i dont see any reason at the moment for any further service.
I thought i would mention it, might save you some money vs replacing them.
Thanks Rambo.

You did get it right once, so he will likely forgive you, but yes his name is Grambo, not Rambo.

Ok. So I have never had my ACCT's make the loud ticking. I have done the grambo trick (not rambo) and when doing it turned them the wrong way, and then realized what it would sound like if I had the problem.

But I still don't like ticking sound that this bike makes. Now I know with DOHC that you always get that noise. But would removing the ACCT's and cleaning them and coating them with MOLY help with that?
