Swing arm caps

Greetings All,

Southwest Indiana vn750 rider here.

I looked for a previous post of caps but couldnít find one. Anyone have a source for one? Thanks!

Thanks! The only ones that Iíve seen come up on EBay are shot.

I had to find them last year. I had one fly off mid-ride and it zipped by my buddy riding behind me. I picked up 2 of them. Some folks on here say it’s a good idea to epoxy them into place but I personally have not.

There's a couple new ones on there but they're over $16+shipping each. Searched it by part number.

There's a few other bikes that use the same part number. Voyager, 1500, should be some more.

I did see those two on ebay that look wrecked.

A little rtv helps keep them in place. I just used a couple of small short beads on each cap, around the tabs.

Lost both in one week and said screw it. Painted the insides black and never looked back. quite happy.

I worked up a 3d model for the caps earlier this week. I intend to add the vulcan logo as an embossed flourish shortly.
