Bolt sizes for rear luggage rack...

Need some help. I got a rear rack from ebay, said it was new, but didn't come with any bolts for mounting. I'm guessing the existing bolts in the seat rail will work for that part. I did see in a previous thread that knifemaker suggested a bit longer bolt for these. No problem there, just take the existing one and get a longer version of it. What I don't know is what size to get for the part that bolts to the cross piece under the seat. If anyone knows, please share.

Thanks!!

Thanks to the info. Off to the hardware store after supper.

Update:
The bolts for the seat rails have 10mm head, 6mm x 20mm shaft(6 x 16 aren't quite long enough, found that out the hard way) and threads are 1.00

Use some 'blue ' thread lock, bolts rattle loose very easily on bikes.

For the side rail bolts the correct dimensions are 10mm head, 6mm x 20 mm shaft but for the bolts that go down toward the fender, on my bike the 10mm heads are too small. Is it possible Phurp was referring to the fender bolts being 13 mm heads, 8mm x 20mm with a 1.25 pitch??? I'll try it out today.

Use blue thread lock!

Yup: 10mm head, 6mm x 20mm shaft bolts with a 1.00 pitch hold the luggage rack to the sides of the sissy bar. You need four of them. 13mm heads, 8mm x 20mm with a 1.25 pitch for the bolts that insert towards the fender. You need two of these.
