Martel QM-100V Voltmeter---

My newly installed Martel QM-100V voltmeter got a good baptizing and water was up about 1/2-2/3 way on the face, I really didn't know the best way to handle it, so I emailed Martel and here is their reply...
"Joe,
I would just let it air out, should be fine. If not, please let me know, I'll take care of you.
Regards
"
How about that, a good company will take care of their products......
Just thought I would pass along the Info....

Bummer about the water, but nice on their reply

Is it supposed to be a waterproof unit?

Hey Old Dog, how did it happen? Do you have spring flood water at the house?

So did it still work after it dried out? (Has it dried out yet, how long ago did you soak it?)

Well what happened was this absent minded ole feller put the hose to it last Friday, like it was in a water tight case when he washed it... No it is not water proof but splash proof...???
Anyway it has been working even though the water line is 1/2-2/3 up in the face, don't know about when it dries out yet...
Well when we get old we know better but just don't think to do better till we see the results...
I'll let y'all know how it turns out... I'm just pleased that Martel didn't just say Ha, Ha, have a nice day idiot...lol...
