Fairings?

Hello all. I have a question about the available fairings for the vn 750. My dad when he was alive had a 1981 Kawasaki KZ650 and he had a front fairing that had a radio and speakers in it. I have looked all over the place and the only fairings ive seen are the ones for just a windshield. Anyone know of a fairing that I could add a stereo system too for this bike?

Your dad probably had a Vetter, Craig Vetter, designer and inventor of the Windjammer fairing,Triumph Hurricane Motorcycle Streamliners and fuel economy motorcycles, you can still find them used. I picked up one for $40 and hand built a mount, a couple of others have done the same. I did not add the Cycle Sound radio kit.

Look for the batwing type also, some have installed those on the VN. Memphis Shades has one, but I'm not sure if it has a dash. I think maybe some have used the Harley batwing too.

Wolfie had one, Kanuck, and a couple others.

eBay has several complete Vetter fairings that would fit. But you will have to alter or make the brackets. If you are on Facebook, the marketplace there also lists some fairings but again you'd have to make mounts.

And if you're very lucky, you might even find the original Vulcan 750 Touring Fairing. Only seen two in my life, Pick had one and the other was just a photo.
I believe they were offered only for a few years from Kawasaki...

Almost any of them are going to take some Ingenuity to make it fit. I've had a couple different ones on mine Universal generics. They all needed some tweaking to fit

Got an email, this one is now $40 off: https://www.ebay.com/itm/293136553945?ul_noapp=true

Ebay has many listed, with varying sizes for speakers. Think you're on your own for finding mount hardware.
