I have a stator cover screw that is mostly stripped and would like to know if anyone knows where to get a replacement. The screw is kinda stripped but I can still remove it with my impact wrench. If rather just replace it but am struggling to find it
its not a common 'hardware store' item. probably best to just order 3 of them from a parts vendor.. also, each has a small o-ring on them, probably gonna need them as well.
a side note: Most of the 'philips' screws on the bike are JIS screws, if I recall. a standard philips will work many times, but the stubborn ones will need the JIS to get out without damaging them
You can get them here. Parts #92009 and #92055. They are not expensive, though they may seem expensive for what they are. I have always believed in using oem parts unless you can find something actually better.
Thanks for your help! I found the same parts from partzilla for similar prices with slightly cheaper shipping. If none of my local dealerships have them, that'll be the way to go
