Lightbulb Heater on Your Bike!

Probably the lowest price on heated 'clothing' you'll see. Heated seat covers.

Bought two of these for the cars a couple of years back. Paid $30 each, but now I see them as low as $9. Mine work really well and there's a low-med-high-off switch, as well as a timer cutoff in case you leave it on and get off the seat.

So I had this idea of wrapping one of these around you like a vest under your jacket. Haven't tried it yet but one rider said he doubled it flat and just sat on it to ride his bike. He said it worked really well.

They've got some that are just the bottom pad also.

The price has come down on heated gear, and lithium batteries get you a lot more run time if you're not plugging in.

A quick look... I see jackets from $57-300. Gloves $30-75.

The seat cover idea gives me a triple-purpose item, car, bike, atv. And the price has come down on several of those.

The other rider I mentioned was picking up a new bike with a two hour ride home, so he used what he had.

It would be a nice idea to incorperate that into the seat, i checked and its easy to remove from the bottm. then you would only need a connection port directly (or with a switch in between) to your battery. Do you have a link Spockster on where to get em? Might try it out myself.

The pair I bought came from ebay. There were also listings for just heating elements for various cars, I don't have the link to the listing I bought from, they're still working fine though.
