The rebuild, (SeeBeeAre)

Ok guys well alot of parts are here except the ones form cheap cycle parts (gasket) so the engine tear down is a lil delayed i think i Almost have everything else just ordered the uni pods and breathers should be here next week....
3/22
Today i bought the pipe and clamps for the gegoat gonna wait till i get it back on the bike to finish .. I also Bought the hoses and caps for the earshave,
I cleaned, rejetted and capped the extra vac line on the carb. Insted of coasters im goin for the rubber caps on the reed valves (just for the now may change to coaster in the near future,

I painted the rusty rings on the speedo and tach pods black,

Debating engine color i had it black but figure im gonna give it a fresh coat of paint after i get her back together, i was thinking Black leave the shiny center caps Chrome covers) and on the cooling fins i was thing accenting red (honest opinions guys) maybe the acct also??

I got a lot of work ahead but the baby steps are gonna be fun i'll tear into it with vegence soon,

Did you get a tube of Three Bond 1194 or 1211 sealant for the crankcase halves?

1211 is better but more expensive.

Yamabond will do just fine, same as 1194.
If they dont have it, Harley and most MC dealers have three bond.
Get a small can of laquer thinner to clean the mating surfaces.

Is the stator actually damaged, or can you solder a new heavy gauge lead onto it where the wire is broken?
