except for the gouge in the tank, looks like some good scrubbing she would clean up pretty good and it sounds like you did the important part first, getting her running good. mine was filthy when I got him (its a him, after a year and a half I finally picked out a name) to be seen in a new thread. after I got the stator put in and the front splines lubed I took a little time and cleaned him up a good bit. I'm pretty happy with the way he looks now for an 86 w/ 31,000 miles on it. heres a pic.

keep at her and she'll be pretty again. still quite a few things I want to do to mine. but gotta keep him running good first. another set of dunlops is next. will be my second set.
