It's a bit chilly here in Poughkeepsie, but I'm not ready to put away my '06 750. I would like to get a heated vest/and gloves, but I'm not sure if the electrical capabilities of the Vulcan are up to it. Anyone have any words of wisdom for me?

According to the electrex site..
http://www.electrosport.com/electrosport_electrical_kawasaki.html

RR60 - Single phase RR goes with OEM stator.

RR37 - Three phase RR goes with OEM three phase stator or G2 stator

If possible, and you have the area to work in, you can replace the stator yourself with a little help.
I replaced mine. I also posted a procedure for the engine tile that doowriter and a few others helped put together, It should be in a fairly recent engine pull post but I can repost it if you like. It would save you several hundred that you would be paying to a dealer..

Rule of thumb is.. if adding a light bar use the 20-35 watt bulbs.. (so 40-70 watts to play with?) I'd stay on the low side 40-50 to be safe.. A volymeter will also tell you if you are charging or draining.
Find out what the draw would be for the gloves and vest and go from there.
There are also battery heated gloves that could be used.
