Ok, I have a set of pants on the way and was wondering, do you really hem them by sewing? or do you just cut them off? I have to make sure I look right and don't want another reason for people to laugh at me, any more than they do now. They might just laugh their way into traffic and that might get blood stains on my new leathers.

Hems should be sewn...some glue them and sew them..but an unfinished edge may not fray on leather like cloth...but the exposed edge may tear or get weaker.
So if you do need to hem the legs up a bit..either sew them yourself or take them somewhere to get done.
